Goodwine — A Poetic Intoxication
Window light, a lingering gaze, a smile that breaks the stillness. Portraits and poetry move through longing and tenderness, with gold roses marking the pauses between them.
-
See everything about her is poetry.
From the river of light that flowed through her eyes,
to the soft landscape of her lips.
She was the rhythm that gave me the blues, after only one kiss.
A short haiku of lust, seemed so innocent. Yet I’ve longed for the beating of her heart against my ear drums.
Maybe I’m a fool.
But if I’m the fool then jazz me up, and put me on display.
I’m not too hip to hop on the love train if central station is the neo in her soul.
my spirit will be slow jamming to the midnight tunes on her radio.
Hmmph, everything about her is poetry.
